The “purpose of Life” is to help the Soul discover everything God is, can do, and can become? It is the wonder of doing so [in its latter stages] that each Soul is on Earth to do [as opposed to the common idea that life exists for Man to eat, drink, and make merry]! Alas… not all Souls are aware of the purpose of life?
Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
1 Peter 2:1-25 So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. …
How can any Soul learn, other than by experiencing the Earth in the physical body, which exists for this express purpose? The Bible tells us that God created Man in His own “image”. Discovering what this means is the secret of how one “learns” how to listen to God.
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
“Reprove, rebuke, and exhort,” is a form of love, it seems to me. At least that is how I “hear” the message.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
The mystics tell us that to “hear” the “word” of God, one must find a way to reach what is called the “eye center,” which is a mystical [invisible] point between the two eyes. And we are told that this can be done via ‘meditation’. A specialized meditation to be sure, but it is something Man is designed to do. And the difficulty in doing this is quite likely relative to how much negative Karma a person has to clear out of the way… before one reaches this ‘eye center’ or what the mystics call the “Tisra Til,” which the mystics tell us requires that one must first find a Perfect Living Master. And the secret to doing this is… one must be pulled to find such a Master.
The ancient saying is this: “When the Chela [student] is ready, the Master appears”. The question is, what does “ready” mean? Above, it is expressed in the Bible this way: …a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious…
Of course not everyone believes in what I just shared. I state it only because it has been my own experience. There are a great many aspects to life that the West [generally speaking] simply does not care to explore.
